All coffee is cupped and scored by the guidelines of a worldwide governing body. Coffee that achieves a minimum score of 80 and above is considered Specialty Coffee.

Total Score Quality Classification:

* 90-100 - Outstanding - Specialty
* 85-89.99 - Excellent - Specialty
* 80-84.99 - Very Good - Specialty
* < 80.0 - Below Specialty Quality - Not Specialty

Our current offerings have a cupping score of 85-86.5, rated as “Excellent”. Coffee without cupping score documentation is just regular coffee. Companies with a rating below 80 or without a rating typically call this “premium” or “gourmet”. Take a look at the coffee you are drinking and see what rating it has, if at all.
